Snoop Dogg's Tour Bus Stopped By Police; Two Men Arrested On Drug Charges
Rapper will not be charged in connection with Dallas incident.

On Thursday night, police arrested in Dallas a tour bus carrying rapper Snoop Dogg, after determining the vehicle registration had expired tags. But after police stepped onto the bus, reinforced with two men, who were detained and arrested on charges of drug.
According to The Associated Press, Snoop, who was on board when the police began their search of the vehicle, was not indicted in connection with the traffic stop, which was initiated by a commercial vehicle inspection team working for the Department of Public Safety. The incident occurred just hours before Snoop was set to perform in Dallas "Superpages.com Center; rapper is currently touring with 311.
Police allege that when they stopped the bus, which caught a whiff of marijuana and decided to conduct a quick search. Inside, they found two ounces of drugs. Ethan Calhoun, 27, and Kevin Barkey, 26, admitted that the drugs belonged to them and was booked on charges of marijuana possession. The two men, whose partnership with the rapper was not disclosed, were transferred to the Navarro County Jail and face fines of up to $ 2000 and six months' imprisonment, if convicted.
Both men were released on $ 1,500 bond.
Snoop no stranger to these charges. In 2006, he was arrested at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California, on drug and weapons possession charges. In April 2007, Snoop claimed no contest to gun crime and marijuana charges, according to five years' probation and 800 hours of community service.
